Google receives first response from AI processor in space

Google has announced that it has successfully operated artificial intelligence processors on an experimental satellite sent into space as part of Project Suncatcher.
The Gemma 4 model aboard the satellite generated a short, space-themed poem upon receiving a prompt and transmitted its response back to Earth.
Google's next goal is to test the processors' resilience to radiation and temperature fluctuations in space.
